Book fair to begin on December 19
Hyderabad, Dec.15 (NSS): Hyderabad Book Fair will begin on December 19. Hyderabad Book Fair Society President Yakub Shaikh announced that the 37th Hyderabad Book Fair would be held from at NTR Stadium near Indira Park. He announced that over 210 publishers and distributors from across the country including the two Telugu States would be showcasing their books at the book fair. He said they have invited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to inaugurate the book fair.
Apart from Telugu, books related to Hindi, English, Tamil, Sanskrit, Urdu, Marathi and Kannada languages would be available at the book fair, he noted. Stating that children, youth and adults visit the book fair every year , he urged them to make it a success again. The Book Fair Society has advised those who wish to set up their stall at the book fair to apply by the 15th of this month.
Hyderabad Book Fair Secretary R Vasu said the 37th National Book Fair will be held till December 29. He said Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Ponnam Prabhakar will also attend the inauguration of the Book Fair. “A total of 347 stalls are being set up at this book fair. Of these, 171 stall are of Telugu language and 135 are in English and other languages. 10 stationery and 14 government stalls are also being set up at the fair,” he said.
